Habib performs for Ananda Mela after long time

Audience-admired singer Habib Wahid, who with his unique vocal style and brilliant music sense created his own fan base in the country, has lent his vocal to a song for the popular magazine show Ananda Mela that airs on Bangladesh Television (BTV). Earlier in 2008, an Eid special programme with eight songs rendered by Habib was aired on BTV. Even before this programme, Habib performed in BTVs Ananda Mela for the last time.
For the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, the production of Ananda Mela is currently underway which has been produced by Nur Anwar Ranju and Md Mahfuzur Rahman. With the aim of giving a surprise to the audience, Habib song titled Ghum has been added to this years Ananda Mela. Meanwhile, the music video of the song has been viewed by a huge number of audiences after releasing on YouTube recently. The lyric of the song is written by Suhrid Sufian, while the song is tuned by Habib himself who also has done its music arrangement.
DhakaLive has news that the shooting of Habibs Ghum took place at the main auditorium of BTV on Sunday.
Habib said about rendering a song for Ananda Mela after a long time, Singing for Ananda Mela was highly fascinating for me. Because it will be aired on BTV. Though by this time the country has many TV channels, none of the channel could create the audience like BTV till now. This is a wonderful feeling that a huge number of viewers will enjoy my song.
This years Ananda Mela will be aired on the day of Eid after the 10pm news bulletin, producer Mahfuzur Rahman informed. Sajal and Nabila will be seen appearing as the anchors in the Eid special Ananda Mela. On the other hand, Habib will likely to come up with yet another new music video on the occasion of Eid. However, Habib was awarded the Tele-Cine Award 2017 in the category of Best Singer on June 4 in Kolkata.
