‘Taroka Kathan’ in 14 years with Annona Ruma

Audience-admired live TV show ‘Taroka Kathan’ of Channel i is stepping into 14 years today. To mark the occasion, a special episode of the show will be aired today at 12:30pm on Channel i. Annona Ruma, who is in charge of the show,  has tried to arrange today’s ‘Taroka Kathan’ in a unique manner for the viewers.   
‘Taroka Kathan’ began its journey on May 21 in 2004 and Annona Ruma took the responsibility of the show at the end of the year 2004. Since then holding the hand of Annona Ruma, ‘Taroka Kathan’ has completed the journey of 13 long years successfully and now steps into 14 years. The show earned huge admiration from the viewers as Annona Ruma put in her best efforts with her love and passion for it.
Annona Ruma said about the popularity of ‘Taroka Kathan’, “I am grateful to everyone who all is behind the success of ‘Taroka Kathan’. At the same time, I express my cordial love to the viewers, because it was not possible for ‘Taroka Kathan’ to become a popular show if they didn’t watch it. My best wishes to my colleagues who are working regularly with me for the show, including Sohel Hakim, Safi and anchors of the show Mousumi Barua and Dilruba Sathi. I must not forget to express my gratitude to Channel i family.”
However, ‘Taroka Kathan’ is now an established name in the arena of TV shows, which also became a part of the birthday celebrations of the country’s celebrities. From famous artistes to today’s novice artistes prefer to participate in the show enthusiastically on their birthdays.
To note, Annona Ruma is presently working as a programme manager at Channel i, who supervises the popular shows like ‘Gane Gane Sokal Shuru’ and ‘Ganer Utsab’ alongside ‘Taroka Kathan’. She is also given the responsibility of different special programmes usually aired on special days.  l
