UCB elects new chairperson
Rukhmila Zaman, managing director of Aramit Group has been elected as the chairperson of United Commercial Bank Limited at the 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the banks corporate office in the capital on Thursday, says a press release. At the meeting, Hajee Yunus Ahmed, chairman of Yunusco Group has also been elected as vice-chairman, Anisuzzaman Chowdhury as executive committee chairman, Jahangir Alam Khan, re-elected as the chairman of risk management committee and Akhter Matin Chaudhury, has been again elected as the chairman of audit committee of the bank.
