‘Jibon Jekhane Jemon’—researched, anchored and directed by actress-turned-minister Tarana Halim—is an ongoing audience-admired magazine show on Channel i. Since its inception, the TV show has always been contributing to solve different social problems, such as recognising the transgender people as the third gender, helping a child to regain his father’s identity, lending a hand to a lame girl for her full-free education and many others. For this reason, Tarana’s show has earned huge popularity.
Interestingly, Tarana has been involved with this show regularly from the very beginning of Channel i and she is working with the show with joy and passion for the last one and a half decades. As the show continues, tonight’s episode titled ‘Rater Dhaka-Nishachar Jara’ of ‘Jibon Jekhane Jemon’ will be aired at 11:30pm on Channel i.
Tarana Halim said about her magazine show, “The show mainly focuses on different types of personal and social issues of helpless and underprivileged people. Besides portraying social issues, the magazine show also brings out the success stories of many individuals from the rural area.”
“I have a weakness to this programme, as I could bring smile on the faces of many people through the show. I wish to continue the show as long as the show will have its appeal”, she added.
To note, making her entry into the acting career at the age of five, Tarana came to limelight with her brilliant role through the once-popular TV play ‘Ayomoy’ when she was a university student. Now, she is the state minister for Post and Telecommunications of the current government.
