Crossing the boundary of the own country, popular Bangladeshi rock band Souls enthrals the expatriate Bangladeshis living in the different countries across the globe on the different occasions. Likewise, on the occasion of this year’s Pahela Baishakh, Souls enthralled the Bangladeshis in Australia. DhakaLive has news that they mainly performed at the reunion of Old Rajshahi Cadets’ Association Australia (ORCA Australia) in Canberra, Australia. Souls performed on the concluding day of the three-day event on April 17, where they fascinated the audience with their 20 popular tracks.
Though Partha Barua, the front man of the band, performed in Australia before, it was the first ever concert for the band Souls in Australia.
Partha Barua said about performing in Australia, “It has always been a completely different feeling to perform Bangla songs outside the country. Earlier, I alone performed in Australia. This time around, I am very happy with the opportunity that I could perform with my entire team here. We shared our joy of Baishakh with the expatriate Bangladeshis in Australia.” Partha and team Souls will return home on April 22, Partha informed DhakaLive.
