Updating of voter list begins in Chuadanga

The updating work of voter list in two upazila of the district including Chuadanga Sadar and Alamdanga began yesterday, reports BSS from Chuadanga.
Under the updating work of voter lists the house to house enumeration work began in two upazila by the appointed enumerators and supervisors.
A total of 321 enumerators and 71 supervisors have started functioning in both the two upazila of the district for updating the voter lists. Chuadanga election office source said those have born on January 1, 2000 and before would be enlisted as voters. The enumeration work of voter list would be concluded on August 9 in both the Upazila of the district.
The registration work of voter list in Sadar Upazila would be started on August 10 and would continue till September one while the registration work of Alamdanga Upazila would begin on August 11 and to be continued till September 2, the source further added.
