Crocodile kills man in eco-park

BARGUNA: A crocodile has killed a man at the Tengragiri Eco-Park in Taltoli Upazila of the district yesterday, reports BSS.Witnesses said coastguard personnel recovered the body of 29-year-old Asaduzzamn Rony, a resident of Mathbaria upazila of neighbouring Pirojpur district and a student at a Malaysian university.  "In the afternoon he crossed the boundary set for visitors and poked the crocodile with a stick to get a closer look of it. The crocodile dragged him inside water," Officer-in-Charge of Taltoli Police Station Kamalesh Chandra said.Rony, who came to Bangladesh during vacation, had come to the park with his friends, said the OC.Being informed of the incident coastguard personnel rushed to the scene and recovered his body after an hour with marks of severe wounds.
