BSA celebrates World Puppet Day today

Marking the World Puppet Day, Theatre and Film Department of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) is organising a daylong puppet theatre show, most commonly known as ‘Putul Nach’, today at BSA. 

The programme features discussion and showcasing puppet dances.  
Arranged by Jol Putul puppet troupe, a puppet making workshop and exhibition with the general and underprivileged children will be held in the lobby of the National and Experimental Theatre Hall of BSA at 3:30pm. 
On the other hand, Jol Putul puppet troupe will present an ‘Open Puppet Show’ at the premises of the National Theatre Hall at 6pm.
The programme will come to end with the traditional puppet dance presented by Hridoy Jhumur Jhumur Putul Nach and Jahangirnagar University. l
