Agnee-2 breaks new record upon release

The much anticipated movie Agnee-2, directed by  Iftekhar Chowdhury, produced by Jazz Multimedia, has broken a new record upon its release this Eid.
On the first day of its release, the film has made about two crores and ten lacs tk business, which is a record for the history of Bangla cinema in the country.  Prior to this, no film in Bangladesh upon its release, made so much money on the first day. Not only that, on the second day, the film made one crore and eighty lac tk. Overall, Agnee-2 surpassed the business made by Agnee.
According to Alimullah Khokon, CEO of Jazz Multimedia, “ Agnee-2 has broken the record by doing so much business on the first day. The film certainly did well. Cinema theatres in Dhaka and even outside Dhaka, such as Jessore, Khulna, Gazipur, Tangail, Sherpur and other places has seen eager and enthusiastic viewers lining up to watch the film. There were people who, despite standing in the line for long periods of time, were unable to get the tickets and were certainly distraught. Some have even booked tickets a day or two in advance to watch the film. Those who have seen the film appeared to be very satisfied.”
To note, Agnee-2 stars Mahiya Mahi, Om, Ashish Vidyarthi and Robiul Islam among others.
