Recitation evening by Hasan Arif tomorrow

Indira Gandhi Culture Centre is organising an evening of recitation titled ‘Muktijuddho Nirantar’ by Hasan Arif tomorrow at 6pm at Sufia Kamal Auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum, Shahbag in the capital.  Hasan Arif has been an elocutionist for the last 33 years. He has been working with Shawrita recitation team since 1985. In 1988, he started working as founder and organising secretary of Bangladesh Abritti Shomonnay Parishad and was three term general secretary of the organisation. Presently he is working as general gecretary of Sammilita Sangskritik Jote and president of ‘Shrutighar’, a recitation organisation of Bangladesh.  Arif Hasan has performed in recitation programmes almost all over Bangladesh. He has performed in North American Bengali Conference (NABC) and in India in Kolkata, Tripura, Silchar etc. He is a special grade artiste of Bangladesh Television and Radio.
