Shreya Ghoshal to perform in Dhaka March 31

Celebrated Indian playback singer Shreya Ghosal is coming to Dhaka once again to perform at a concert titled ‘Shreya Ghoshal Melody Night Live In Dhaka’. The event will be held on March 31 at International Convention Centre Bashundhara in the capital. Organised by Octopi Limited and ATN Events, the famous Bollywood artiste will perform live for the audience of Dhaka. Alongside Shreya, a group of popular singers from Bangladesh, including Anika, Pintu Ghosh and Miftah will also perform at the melody night.
A press conference was arranged at a restaurant in the capital’s Banani area yesterday to disclose detailed information about the upcoming concert.
Director of ATN Events Masudur Rahman said, “Shreya Ghoshal will fascinate the audience the concert amid a colourful arrangement. I believe the concert would be a successful one to satisfy the thirsty music lovers. We are taking preparation according to the target.”
Accounts Director of Octopi Ltd said, “The gate will be open at 4pm on the day of the concert. The concert will start after Maghrib prayer. The job of collecting all types of documents, including government permission has already been accomplished. If there would not be any big trouble, a fantastic concert will be held on March 31.”
Afrid Hasan, Head of Media, ATN Events informed that the tickets of the concert will be available for purchasing from The Westin Dhaka, Safhab and Floor Six in Mirpur, Cafe Darbar in Dhanmondi, Cafe Journal and Cafe Inners in Hatirjheel. To note, Shreya Ghoshal (born 12 March 1984) is an Indian playback singer. She has received four National Film Awards, six Filmfare Awards including five for Best Female Playback Singer, nine Filmfare Awards South (one for Telugu, two for Kannada, two for Tamil and four for Malayalam) with three Kerala State Film Awards, one Tamil Nadu State Film Award and several other major awards to date. She has recorded songs for film music in various Indian languages, and has established herself as a leading playback singer of Indian cinema.
