Bhabna’s short film ‘Borosha’ hits YouTube today

Lustrous model-actress Ashna Habib Bhabna’s debut short film ‘Borosha’ will be released on YouTube today at 8:30pm. Directed by Animesh Aich, Bhabna will be seen appearing opposite popular singer-actor Tahsan in the short film.  

Produced under the banner of Kinbokoi.com, the premiere show of the short film was held on Sunday evening in the capital’s Sevenhill Restaurant, where director Animesh Aich, Actress Bhabna, producer Mohitul Al Kaiser and Prince Mahmud were present, among others.
About making a short film, director Animesh Aich said, “The script or story demands how much time we will provide for it. The story of ‘Borosha’ demands to be a short film. Besides, nowadays we have a great market for the short films in Bangladesh. YouTube gives us the opportunity.”
About the story of the short film, he said, “I don’t want to reveal anything about the story now, but to mention only that it is a story about love.”

Please tell us about your short film.
It’s a story of love. I don’t want to reveal the story right now. I request the audience to watch it on the YouTube channel.

Why the short film’s title is ‘Borosha’?
It was shot in the rain. Director Animesh Aich can define it better than me. Maybe, he wanted to portray love through the rainfall.

Did you find love in it during the shooting?
I found love every moment, when I was taking part in the shooting of the short film. It was very difficult to shoot in the rain; even the weather was very cold. I believe that watching the short film, the audience can feel the depth of love.

Tell us about your co-artiste.
I have worked opposite popular singer-actor Tahsan in this short film, on whom all young women of the country have now a crush. I felt lucky with the opportunity of acting with him.

Tell us about your other works.
My first film ‘Bhayankar Sundor’ is going to be released very soon.

Any other new project?
I am very excited and waiting for the release of my debut film ‘Bhayankar Sundor’. Right now, only ‘Bhayankar Sundor’ is in my mind. If I receive positive response from the audience for it, then I will think about any new project.
