Mousumi in Akbar’s film after a decade

Audience-admired actress Mousumi is going to act in a new film under the direction of noted director Montazur Rahman Akbar after a decade. DhakaLive has news that Mousumi will start working for the film titled ‘Dulabhai Zindabad’ from the middle of February and she will play as the wife of actor Dipjol—director Akbar and Mousumi confirmed the news yesterday. Abdullah Jahir Babu has written the story of the film, which will be produced by Rajesh Films. It will be the 14th film for talented Mousumi under the direction of Montazur Rahman Akbar.
Mousumi said about working in the film, “I found the script of ‘Dulabhai Zindabad’ is amazing. Though I receive numerous scripts every day, but I don’t work in those if the scripts do not meet my expectation. I have become very choosy about working in the film. I always keep complete faith in Montazur Rahman Akbar, as well as I have love and respect towards his work. I hope that the new film will be something good.”
Montazur Rahman said, “Mousumi is going to work in my film after a decade. I didn’t even imagine any other person except Mousumi for the role that she has agreed to play in the film. Besides, this is a matter of great pride for me that Mousumi worked in maximum number of films under my direction.” To note, Mousumi worked in Montazur Rahman-directed film for the first time in 1995. She acted last time in Akbar’s direction for the film ‘Bhaiyer Shatru Bhai’ in 2004.
