Wakil Ahmed’s new film releasing Jan 13

Veteran filmmaker Wakil Ahmed, who came into limelight with his directorial debut ‘Sot Manush’ (Honest Man) starring Ilias Kanchan and late actress Diti, has recently made yet another film titled ‘Kato Swapno Kato Asha’. Besides directing the film, he has written the story, dialogue and screenplay of the film. Starring Pori Moni and Bappi Saha in two lead roles, the film will hit cinemas on January 13, 2017.
Wakil Ahmed said about the film, “The film will be released on January 13. I believe that the story, songs, acting of the artistes and cinematography of the film will fascinate the viewers. So, I request the audience to come to the cinema hall to enjoy the film. I have made this film with utmost care and hard work. I hope the film will be liked by everyone.” The lyrics of the songs for the film have been written by Munshi Wadud.
To note, Wakil Ahmed has been engaged with the theatre troupe Mohanagari 77 since many years.
