‘Live From Dhaka’ bags two major awards in SGIFF

Young Bangladeshi filmmaker Abdullah Mohammad Saad’s debut feature film ‘Live From Dhaka’ won two major awards at the 27th edition of Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF). Abdullah Mohammad Saad himself won the Best Director award, while Mostafa Monwar won received the award for best performance for Bangladeshi debut feature film ‘Live From Dhaka’. The festival took place from November 23 to December 4 in Singapore. The awards were presented at a red carpet gala on Saturday evening at the Mastercard Theater, which is part of Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands complex.
