3-day ijtema ends in Bogra

BOGRA: A three-day long Bogra district ijtema ended at Charmatha Jhopgari in Sadar upazila yesterday around 12.15 pm through Akheri Munajat.
Mowlana Hafez Moham¬mad Faruque Hossain conducted munajat seeking forgiveness, blessing, peace and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah.
Thousands of devotees of the district took part in the Akheri Munajat through raising their hands in prayers on the ijtema ground, on roads, on top of the surrounding residential buildings as crowds spilled onto the adjacent areas.
 Apart from this, the devotees of neighboring districts including Naogaon, Gaibandha, Rangpur, Joypurhat, Sirajganj, Rajshahi, Pabna also joined the congregation.
