KFC, which has always celebrated the liberation war throughout its 10 year journey in Bangladesh, has introduced the Victory Box to mark the 46th Victory Day. This is marked as an early start to the victory celebrations this year. There are three types of Victory Boxes, made with 3 different combinations of the KFC favourites. Two of these boxes can cater to 2 to 3 persons, whereas the Victory Box reloaded can cater to 4 to 6 persons. The price for the 3 boxes ranges from 1300 Tk to 3000 Tk. The whole idea behind this offer is to celebrate victory in numbers, and spread the joy with friends and family.
At a small ceremony on November 20, Akku Chowdhury, CEO and MD of Transcom Foods Ltd, announced the launch of the Victory Box. Actress and TV personality Bonna Mirza, Sharmin Lucky and Munmun, renowned singer Topu and actress Tusty were present at the ceremony.
Earlier this year, KFC had launched the Freedom Box on March 26. To note, KFC is a globally renowned international restaurant chain that specializes in fried chicken. It is the world’s second largest restaurant chain, operated in 123 countries by Yum! Restaurants International. KFC in Bangladesh is run by the franchisee Transcom Foods Limited (TFL), by opening the first KFC outlet in Gulshan 1 in 2006. From the beginning of KFC’s Bangladeshi journey, the brand has been making continuous efforts to bring the best quality food with added value to serve the customers. Variety and variation in the menu to keep their customers coming back has been extremely important to the brand. To reach more consumers across geographical areas, KFC has opened 19 outlets in different locations across Bangladesh for last 10 years.
