Riaz, Ahona to appear in Kobori�s 13-episode drama serial

Audience-admired actor Riaz and Ahona will appear together for the first time in a drama serial titled ‘Abar Ashibo Phire’, directed by the film heroine of the golden era of Bangladeshi films Sarah Begum Kobori, who has also written the story and screenplay. Under the banner of Impress Telefilm, this 13-episode drama serial also stars legendary actor Nayak Raj Razzak and KS Firoz.  Sarah Begum Kobori herself will also star as a main character.
The plot of the drama serial revolves around Taufik and Kamran, whose families have a very friendly relationship due to business reasons. However, things take a tragic turn as greed takes over Kamran, and he murders Taufik. To solve the mystery behind her husband’s murder, Taufik’s wife Nabila steps forward. In the meantime, her only son Sourob also returns to the country from abroad. The story starts to unfold from there.
Nayak Raj Razzak will play the role of Taufik, KS Firoz plays the role of Kamran, Riaz will play as Sourob and Sarah Begum Kobori will appear as Nabila. Actress Ahona will play the role of Mouri.
Regarding the drama serial, Sarah Begum Kobori said, “‘Abar Ashibo Phire’ is a cinematic drama serial. My aim is to make this 13-episode drama serial different from the traditional ones that the viewers see regularly. I hope the viewers will appreciate it. I am thoroughly impressed with Riaz’s acting and dedication towards his work.”
Riaz also shared his thoughts, “I have previously worked with Sarah Begum Kobori but this is the first time I am working under her direction. I have learned a great deal and gained valuable experience from working with Sarah Begum Kobori as an actress, and now it was my turn to learn new things from Sarah Begum Kobori as a director, which I did and appreciate. I feel that all this will play a role towards further upgrading the standard and quality of my work.”
Actress Ahona said, “Sarah Begum Kobori is an iconic actress of our country and I consider myself very fortunate that I have been given the opportunity to work under her direction. I have tried my utmost to present my character in the best possible way.”
However, it has not yet been confirmed when the tele-drama will start airing.
To note, around six-seven years ago, Sarah Begum Kobori directed a tele-drama casting Mahfuz Ahmed and Tarin in the lead roles. Prior to that, she directed the film ‘Ayna’.  l
