The music maestros from home and abroad are ready to enthrall the audience with their mesmerising performance at the Dhaka International Folk Festival 2016 like the last year. The three-day festival will be held from November 10 to 12 at the Bangladesh Army Stadium in the capital.
Organised by Sun Events, about 125 local and foreign musicians will perform at this years event, a press release from the organisers reveals.
According to the press release, the three-day festival will feature a number of prominent local musicians and troupes like Momtaz Begum, Bari Siddiqui, Islamuddin Kissakar, Abdur Rahman Baul, Baul Shafi Mandal, Sunil Karmakar, Tun Tun Baul, Latif Sarker, Farida Yasmin, Taposh Friends and flautist Jalal, among others.
Besides, the festival will present a number of internationally-acclaimed musicians and troupes like Kailash Kher, Nooran Sisters, Javed Bashir, Paban Das Baul, Karen Lugo Richardo Moro, Shusheela Rahman Sam Mills, Indian Ocean, Prosad and Raju Das Baul, among others.
The mega event will take place every day from 6pm to 12 midnight.

Besides, Maasranga TV comes up as broadcast partner, while The Westin Dhaka as hospitality partner, Square Hospital as medical partner and Shohoz.com as registration partner.
