Yunnan company to build Angkor Airport

On October 13, the government of Cambodia and Yunnan Investment Holdings Limited (YIHL) signed a BOT Agreement on the International Airport Project, Angkor, Siem Reap.
According to the agreement, the joint investment consortium formed by YIHL, the Yunnan Construction Investment Group and the Yunnan Airport Group will gain a 55-year franchise right to the airport. When completed in three years, the airport will play an important role in conserving historical and cultural relics, improving local infrastructure and promoting tourism.
