Ariful Haque‘s birthday today

Veteran actor and theatre personality Ariful Haque has been residing in Canada for the last decade. Portraying his talents and skills in the cultural arena, he made enormous contributions through his work as far as the field of entertainment in Bangladesh is concerned. Today is a special day for the veteran as he celebrates his 85th birthday.
Regarding his birthday, he spoke over the phone from Canada, “I miss Bangladesh, its people and everything about the place every single day. I usually do not do anything on my birthday. But my son Sanjar Arif Piyal takes me out and tries to surprise me. That brings me great joy.”
Ariful Haque was born near the house of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar. He has taken acting very passionately throughout his career. His passion was shown in his performances which impressed and filled the viewers with admiration. For life’s purposes, he, along with his family, settled in Canada in 2000. He last came to Bangladesh in 2012.
In his very first film, he played a small role alongside legendary actor Uttam Kumar in ‘Uttaraon’, directed by Bibhuti Laha. His notable films include ‘Lalon Fakir’, ‘Sareng Bou’, ‘Boro Bari’r Meye’, ‘Surja Kanya’, ‘Sundori’, ‘Sokhi Tumi Kaar’, ‘Kotha Dilam’, ‘Notun Bou’, ‘Ekhoney Somoy’, ‘Pita Mata Santan’, ‘Tomake Chay’, ‘Deshpremik’, ‘Grhina’, ‘Swapner Nayak’, among others.
