I want to work in mainstream film: Sharlina

Promising young model Sharlina Hossain has already worked in several television commercials (TVC) under the direction of a few celebrated TVC makers during her three-year modelling career. Moreover, she has recently come to the limelight after appearing in a music video with popular singer Habib Wahid. Directed by Tanim Rahman Aungshu, the music video earned huge admiration from the viewers; at the same time, stunning presence of Sharlina was also commendable.
Though Sharlina has a number of admirable TVCs to her credit and is also signing up for new TVCs one after another, but she is mainly interested to work in the mainstream films in the near future.
Expressing her immense enthusiasm towards working in the film, she said, “I have been working in the media since last three years. During this period, I have worked as a model in the TVCs only. Besides, I have received many proposals for working in the TV plays. But I want to work in the mainstream films. Even I have taken mental preparation for that. Let’s see what happens in the end. But what I believe I will get the opportunity to work in my long-awaited film soon.”
Sharlina made her debut as a model in the country’s showbiz with a TVC of Meril Lip Gel. Then, she model in several TVCs, including Frooto, Keya Beauty Soap, Pran Power Candy and Pran Frutika.
Sharlina informed DhakaLive that she is going to work in yet another new TVC in the coming week under the direction of a celebrated TVC
