Shimla’s two new films in theatre soon

Lustrous actress Shimla, who entered into the country’s film industry with the film ‘Madam Phuli’ in 1999 and earned the National Film Award for her debut project, is going to present two films together very soon. DhakaLive has news that the work of her two new films—‘Naior’ and ‘Nishiddha Premer Galpo’—is about to wrap up soon.
Shimla said, “Shooting of these two films are at the final stage. I will complete the work very soon. The films are expected to be released during coming Eid.”
Shimla also informed that she is going to work in yet another new film titled ‘Madam Phuli 2’, which is a sequel of her 1999 film ‘Madam Phuli’. The film will be directed by Ashiqur Rahman. She said, “A discussion has been going on for a long time regarding the film. I am also very interested to work in it. Though it is taking much time, we are going to start the shooting very soon.”
In reply to a question about how she will look like in the film, “The viewers will find the previous Shimla here -that I can promise. They will find the same Madam Phuli who appeared 16 years ago. To tell the truth, I want to go 16 years back through the film. I want to start a fresh journey.”
Late noted directed Shahidul Islam Khokon presented the film industry a talented heroine with immense potentiality in 1999 through the film ‘Madam Phuli’. In return, the actress earned the highest state honour like National Film Award for the film. Though Shimla worked in many films during her 16-year long career, she could not cross the success of her first film till today.
