It is the first Ramadan for Le Méridien Dhaka since the hotel began operation early June and excitement is running high in Latest Recipe restaurant. This all day dining restaurant has already achieved great reviews from overseas guests and city patrons alike with lavish and inspired buffet fares which are laid out daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now for Ramadan, the hotel’s food and beverages team promise an equally stimulating buffet iftar with dinner for food connoisseurs.
Latest Recipe, a key signature restaurant of the Le Méridien brand and the hotel’s main dining venue, features an open kitchen experience in an energising and interactive setting. With over 07 live cooking stations and 10 extensive buffet bases, the restaurant truly offers an eclectic selection of carefully curated global palates in local flavours. For Ramadan, the restaurant is adding to the number with iftar menus, both traditional and reinterpreted. While dishes such as aloo chop, chola bhuna, beguni and piyazu (without which iftar ceases to make sense) will of course be there, cuisines immersed in Arabic, Cajun, Mexican, Mughal, Tandoori, Thai, Italian, Japanese and European flavours will also add to this sensorial spectacular.
“We want guests to savour the festivity of Ramadan,” declared Executive Chef Olivier Loreaux. “We want them to embark on an epicurean expedition of iftar from across the world.”
“We are offering the buffet iftar plus dinner at the regular buffet dinner prices,” informed the hotel’s Food & Beverages Director Johannes Steyn. “And dinner is served at the same time as the iftar so that our guests have the flexibility of how they choose to dine and enjoy their evening. We also offer 03 private dining rooms at the restaurant with seating for 15-20 guests each.”
The buffet iftar plus dinner is available at BDT 3,600++ on weekdays and BDT 4,400++ for Fridays and Saturdays. And for the first time in Bangladesh, Latest Recipe is also offering Buffet Sehri at the very reasonable price of BDT 2,000++ (7% Service Charge and 15% VAT applicable). The restaurant is also partnered with Standard Chartered Bank, The City Bank, American Express and Prime Bank JCB to offer the popular “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” offer for the buffet options. Minimum 06 hours prior reservations required to avail the Buffet Sehri. Reservations can be made by calling +88 01723 595463.
