It seems that popular actor Amin Khan has the penchant to play the role of the groom regularly on television. For three years, under the direction of Robin Khan, he has been selected to play the title characters in the Kahinichitra (dramas) ‘Fine Jamai’, ‘Ghoroya Jamai’ and ‘Nayak Jamai’, where he was paired up with Bindu, Mousumi Hamid and Toma Mirza respectively. This time, Amin Khan is again playing the role of groom in the new telefilm titled ‘Hobu Jami’, directed by Robin Khan, where Amin Khan is pairing up again with Toma Mirza.
DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the telefilm began from June 24 outside the capital in Pubail in the Hasna Hena shooting spot. Regarding his acting in the telefilm Amin Khan said, “For this Eid, I received a lot of scripts. However, I did not like any of them with the exception of ‘Hobu Jamai’. Just as how it has been well written by Ferari Farhad, Robin Khan has also done the work for it with a lot of care. For the past few years, I received huge praise for this series. I hope I continue to receive it.”
Toma Mirza said, “I first worked alongside Amin Khan in the film ‘O Amar Desher Mati’. He is a very senior artiste and an artiste of great repute. He has showed great cooperation to me. For me, that is a lot.”
‘Hobu Jamai’ will be aired on Channel i at 3:05 pm on the fifth day of Eid.
In addition to acting, Amin Khan is also regularly involved in social work. He works in campaigns against contaminated food and is always involved in creating awareness about this issue to the masses.
Toma Mirza will be performing dance in the BTV special Eid magazine programme ‘Anandamela’ and will also be participating in dance shows on SATV, Bijoy TV and NTV. l
