Railway changes schedule

Sale of advance train tickets for Eid will remain suspended at Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka tomorrow (June 25) as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate a new train service between the capital and Chittagong at the station. Tickets for July 4 will be available on Jun 26 and tickets for July 5 will be sold on June 27, a Railway official said.
The new train ‘Sonar Bangla Express’ will begin operating on the Dhaka-Chittagong route from Sunday. The 16-car inter-city train will have only one stoppage at Airport Railway Station in Dhaka will travel from Dhaka to the port city in five hours and 40 minutes.
