Mir Sabbir, Purnima together on screen after long time

Back in 2007, immediately after her wedding, popular actress Purnima acted in a tele-drama titled Moner Raja, where audience-admired actor Mir Sabbir acted alongside her. The tele-drama, directed by Raihan Khan, was written by Mir Sabbir himself, and it was the first tele-drama under his production. Then, in 2012, Mir Sabbir and Purnima modeled together for a TVC (television commercial) for Citycell. Now, on the occasion of this Eid, after a long break of nearly a decade, Purnima and Mir Sabbir have acted together in an Eid special tele-drama titled Bhimrati Birombana, directed by Imraul Rafat and written by Hamed Hasan Nauman.
Purnima said about acting in the tele-drama, This is my first work under the direction of Imraul Rafat, who is a very talented director and knows his work very well. I had a very good time working under his direction and that is why the work was completed on time. I have worked with Mir Sabbir after a really long time. I hope the viewers like it.
Mir Sabbir was full of praise for his co-artiste, Purnima is one such artiste that while working with her, one will feel that she is part of the tele-drama. This is because she works with small screen artistes with such attention and enthusiasm. She has expertised her skills to a great level, and I have seen that while acting with her. There are these new generation artistes who do not know how to even act but show attitude as if they are veterans. But Purnima is one such actress, who, despite being immensely talented and experienced in the field, is very simple and kind and does not have an attitude problem.
This Eid, Mir Sabbir-directed tele-drama is titled Baap Beta Dewana, which was written by Mir Sabbir himself. This tele-drama will be aired on RTV this Eid. Also, Mir Sabbir-acted ten tele-dramas and three drama serials will be aired on various television channels this Eid.
Purnima has recently completed the work for the telefilm titled Phire Jawa Holo Na, directed by SA Huq Alik, where she acted opposite popular actor Hridoy Khan. From today, she will be busy with the shooting of a tele-drama directed by Abir Khan.
Bhimrati Birombana will be aired on Channel i during Eid.
