Le Méridien Dhaka holds summer soiree for kids

A five year old kid Golpo came from Uttara to master the art of Pasta making. That day was a tremendous one for Golpo because she spent the whole day at Le Meridien Dhaka in a very festive mood. Not only Golpo, many kids of different ages from abroad came to Le Meridien Dhaka to enjoy the event recently. That day, it did not seem like it was a usual day for the hotel, rather the hotel turned into a fun factory place for the kids. Le Méridien Dhaka arranged a carnival for families to kick off the summer vacation with festivity. As part of the brand’s global ‘Le Méridien Family Programme’, which aims to provide creative outlets for the littlest guests staying at the chain’s hotels worldwide, Le Méridien Dhaka hosted the ‘LM Family Summer Soiree’ recently. During the day-long event, visiting families got the opportunity to enjoy three movies-- Up, The Good Dinosaur and Frozen at the hotel’s top floor ballroom. There were many cultural shows including puppet skits and live music in the afternoon with local art college students. A puppet character Gittu’s activity put on huge smiles to the faces of the young ones. There were also various activities throughout the day such as Éclair Art Tutorials, Pasta Making Lessons, Community Art Project and Tea Party for children below 12 years of age. In the tea party, children found themselves in the world of Alice.  Other fun activities included a variety of free games that were available throughout the day. For parents and older youths, a number of Eid fashion, food as well as gadget and comic book stalls were also available to make happy purchases from.
The kids along with their family were seen to be roaming around everywhere of the hotel with  happiness on their faces. They were fascinated with the creative lessons that the chefs of the hotel presented before them. Some of them were interested about the art lessons while some just enjoyed their time playing the games arranged for them. At the end of the day, when the kids were leaving the venue of the event, they seemed tired, but they had the smile of their satisfaction.
