Abul Hayat, Jahanara Ahmed, Shahed in Eid tele-drama

Ekushey Padak winning actress Jahanara Ahmed, National Film Award and Ekushey Padak winning actor-director Abul Hayat and popular actor Shahed Sharif Khan will be seen together in an Eid special tele-drama titled ‘Baba Tomar Haat Ta Ektu Dhori’. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the tele-drama began yesterday. Written and directed by Abul Hayat, Jahanara Ahmed will be playing the role of Shahed’s mother, while Abul Hayat will be playing the role of the headmaster of a school. Shahed will be playing the role of a father. Moutushi Biswas will also be playing a crucial role in the tele-drama. Regarding the tele-drama, Abul Hayat said, “I am making this tele-drama for the occasion of Eid, since Eid is a time when families get together and watch the special programmes. The tele-drama will aim to inspire society and I have directed it thinking about my responsibilities towards the society. I hope the viewers like it.”
Jahanara Ahmed said, “I have done the work for this tele-drama because I simply loved the story by Abul Hayat.” Shahed Sharif Khan said, “I am playing the title role. The story is unique and is very different from the others. I am having a wonderful time working in it.”
To note, the drama serial titled ‘Chhobol’, written by Jahanara Ahmed is regularly being aired on BTV. Abul Hayat-directed drama serial ‘Akasher Opare Akash’ is being aired regularly on NTV.
