Praise for the wonder boy of Bangladesh cricket, Mustafizur Rahman, continues to pour in as the young bowling sensation keeps surprising the cricketing world. His mesmerising bowling in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League made Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina join the chorus and laud the pacer. The premier came up with inspirational words for the lanky Bangladeshi pacer who takes the country to a new height with his on-field performance in the IPL. The prime minister, while speaking at an ECNEC meeting at the NEC conference room at Sher-e Bangla Nagar in the capital yesterday, said, “Mustafizur is our national hero. We should be proud of him.” She also urged the Bangladesh cricket authorities to take extra care for him, Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal told reporters at a brief after the meeting. Referring to the PM, Kamal said Mustafiz is a national hero and he took the country’s image to a new height in the cricket world. “We are proud of his magnificent performance and contribution,” Kamal added. Meanwhile, the US embassy in Dhaka greeted Mustafiz who recently completed his first year in the international cricket on an excellent note.
