There are many from various generations who have already played as the heroine of the different stories and novels written by Rabindranath Tagore. If we look back, names of eminent actresses like Sadia Islam Mou, Aupee Karim and Tarin are in the frontline of the list. This time around, Sabila Nur, one of the very popular model-actresses of the recent times, will be seen playing as a heroine of Rabindranath Tagore. DhakaLive has news that Sabila will appear as Mrinmoyee, a famous character from Tagore’s story ‘Samapti’, in an upcoming tele-drama. The viewers will see her in two completely opposite avatars--firstly, as a self-willed tomboy girl before her marriage, while she will be dramatically transformed into the housewife Mrinmoyee by wearing sari in the second phase after she gets married. Meanwhile, the shooting of the tele-drama took place in Manikganj Sadar upazila on Sunday and Uttara’s Apanghar shooting house in the capital yesterday. Directed jointly by Shubhra Khan and Shraboni Ferdous, audience-admired actor Sajal will be seen acting opposite Sabila in the tele-drama.Sabila Nur said about working in the tele-drama, “This is for the first time that I am playing any role of Rabindranath’s heroine. I am really excited as well as very happy with the opportunity of playing such a role, which was a long-awaited desire of mine.” The tele-drama will be aired on a satellite TV channel soon.
