Prosenjit to attend premiere show of �Sankhachil� today

Celebrated Indian filmmaker Gautam Ghoshs film Sankhachil, starring popular Bangladeshi actress Kusum Sikder and prominent Indian film actor Prosenjit, will be released in Bangladesh and West Bengal simultaneously on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh on April 14. Besides, a premiere show of the film is set to take place today at the Star Cineplex of Bashundhara City. DhakaLive has news that films lead actor Prosenjit will attend todays premiere show. In order to attend the show, Prosenjit will arrive in Dhaka this morning, informed by Impress Tele Films. The premiere show will also be attended by director Gautam Ghosh and its casts and crew.
The film has been produced by Bangladeshs Impress Telefilms, Ashirbad Cholochitro, and Prosenjit Chatterjee`s production house nIDEAS Ltd. The story of the film revolves around the border tragedy about a couple and their ailing daughter. The film has been produced based on the different stories of border incident.
Different types of emotion, family crisis, affection and frustration have been portrayed in the film. The film also shows that how a family suffers when the borderline runs through their house.
The film was shot in Taki-international border between India and Bangladesh. In the film, Prosenjit and Kusum Sikder are playing the lead roles. The other most important casts of the film include Bangladeshi actors Mamunur Rashid, Rosy Siddiqui, Prabir Mitra and Anum Rahman Khan.
To note, before its release, the film Sankhachil won the Best Bengali Film award at the 63rd edition of Indian National Film Awards.
