Momo loses interest in drama serials

National Film Award winning actress and winner of Lux Channel i Superstar 2006 Zakia Bari Momo was last seen in a drama serial last year. She has her hands full with tele-dramas and films, and is set to begin the work for her fourth film Swapnabari, directed by Tanim Rahman Angshu, where she will be acting opposite Anisur Rahman Milon. Even though she can be seen in films and tele-dramas, her enthusiasm and eagerness towards drama serials is no longer there.
Momo explained the reason behind this, To put it in simple words, the main reason why I am not so eager anymore towards drama serials is because nowadays the drama serials lack depth and consistency. However, it seems that Momo identified and recognised that depth and consistency in Sokal Ahmeds drama serial Ditio Kusum, in which Momo will appear. Currently the work for the drama serial is on a break, but will resume after Eid. Momo-acted first drama serial was Ejaj Munnas Nir. She last appeared in a drama serial titled Bhalobashar Chatuskan, directed by Shihab Shahin, where she acted opposite Apurba.
To note, Momo won the National Film Award for her incredible performance in Daruchini Dwip.
