Besides demonstrating his poetic brilliance over the decades, noted wordsmith Syed Shamsul Haque wrote many timeless songs like ‘Haire Manush Rongin Fanus’, ‘Tumi Asbe Bole Kachhe Dakbe Bole’, ‘Ei Je Akash Ei Je Batas’, ‘Chader Sathe Ami Debo Na Tomar Tulona’ and others for different films. Recently, after a long time he has yet again composed a song for an upcoming film.
Internationally-acclaimed singer Runa Laila and popular singer Subir Nandi have lent their vocals to the song, whose tune and music arrangement has been done by noted musician Alauddin Ali. The song will be used in the film titled ‘Basor Hobe Matir Ghore’ directed by Shah Mohammad Songram. The recording of the song was completed in a studio in the city’s Moghbazar area.
Runa Laila said about the song, “It is a melodious track. Aliuddin Ali has worked after a long time, and Subir Nandi also sang with me after many days. I felt wonderful to work with all of them.”
To note, after diagnosed with lung complications in June last year that led to travelling to Bangkok for advance treatment, eight-time National Film Award winning music director Alauddin Ali was staying away from his profession for nearly about a year. With this new song, he, who claims to be 90 percent physically fit now, made a comeback to the music scene and extended his hope to work continuously in his most familiar arena.
Alauddin Ali will again travel to a Bangkok hospital this March 6 for the medical check up, he informed.l
