Music streaming app �Gaan� launched

‘Gaan’, the first ever independent music streaming mobile app in the country, was officially launched on Monday. Hamin Ahmed, president of BAMBA attended the launching ceremony as the chief guest, while Nahim Razzaq, Convener at Young Bangla and Member of Parliament was present as special guest. Besides, popular singer-composer Fuad from Feedback along with melodious singer Elita was present as guest speakers. Over the years, various platforms such as LPs, Cassettes, CD s have been used as platforms for music. Now with the Digital Age and the proliferation of online entertainment, ‘On Demand Streaming Services’ is considered the most popular, even more so than downloading music. ‘Gaan’ by Gaan on Demand Limited, is the first ever independent music streaming, using mobile internet or WiFi service, available on Android mobile devices for Bangladeshi and/or Bangla music only. ‘Gaan’ gives instant access to high quality contents of all artistes, albums and songs.
