Jahidul wins �Shera Rondhon Shilpi 2015� crown

Jahidul Islam from Rangpur Division received the Champion’s trophy of ‘Shera Rondhon Shilpi 2015’. Ismail Chowdhury Mamun of Chittagong and Ajmiri Rowshan of Barisal became 1st and 2nd runner up respectively.
Grand Finale and the Award Ceremony of Shera Rondhon Shilpi 2015, the premier culinary talent hunt competition of the country, was telecast on Thursday on ATN Bangla.

AR Gani, Chief Administrative Officer of TK Group of Industries, Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor, The Bangladesh Monitor, Nawazish Ali Khan, Advisor- Programme, ATN Bangla attended the occasion, among others.
Last year, more than two thousand culinary artistes sent their recipes for participation, among those 49 applicants, seven from each division, were invited to participate in the reality show. Nahid Sultana of Dhaka, Ismail Chowdhury Mamun from Chittagong, Ajmiri Rowshan from Barisal and Jahidul Islam from Rangpur fought for the crown in the final round.
In the final round, competitors had to go through a number of tests, including replication  of an Italian dish at the kitchen  of  Le Meridien Dhaka hotel under the supervision of  hotel’s Italian Master Chef Volter Belli and a quiz competition on nutrition, conducted by renowned nutritionist Masuma Akhter. Judgment in the competition was done by renowned culinary experts and nutritionists Kalpana Rahman, Lobi Rahman, Tahera Wahid, Nafij Islam Lipi and Nur Ayesha Chaklader. l
