Digital launching of Biswajit�s �Sarangshe Tumi� held

The digital launching of the much-anticipated album Sarangshe Tumi, which is the first duet album for National Film Award winning popular singer and music director Kumar Biswajit, was held in the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on Thursday in the capitals Agargoan area. Presented by Munmun, the event included invited guests and well wishers. Member of Parliament Fazle Nur Taposh was also present among the guests. Under the banner of Banglar Dhol, Sarangshe Tumi features Samina Chowdhury, Nancy and Kolkatas Shubhomitam who lent their vocals with Biswajit in the duet album. The album consist of eight tracks and the lyrics have been written by Shahidullah Farayazi, Kabir Bakul, Ibrahim Fatmi, Shafik Tuhin, Zulfikar Rasel, Hena Islam and Panju Bhattyacharya. With the exception of Naqib Khans Sampane Badhir Ghor, Kumar Biswajit himself did the tuning and music arrangement of all the tracks.
After presenting videos from the new album, there was a solo performance from Kumar Biswajit, who began by singing Amar Bhai Er Rokte Rangano Ekushey February followed by his evergreen songs such as Tumi Roj Bikele, Jekhane Simanto Tomar, Oh Doctor, Ekta Chaad Chara Raat Ekdin Bangali Chilam Re, among others, Biswajit performed these songs by the request of the audience. New generation popular singer Kishor Das got on the stage as well and the two stars from different eras thrilled the crowd with their performance.
Many guests delivered speech thanking Kumar Biswajit and they all expressed their appreciation for the singer and wished him well for the success of the new album. l
