Muktijoddha Complex inaugurated

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Muzammel Haque, MP, said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly for the welfare of the freedom fighters, reports BSS.
He said under her dynamic leadership the present government has been implementing various welfare oriented programmes for the freedom fighters.
The minister said this while inaugurating the newly constructed Zila Muktijoddha Complex on Friday as the chief guest at Thana ghat area in the town. Deputy Commissioner Mustakim Billah Faruqui chaired the function.
Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman addressed the inaugural function as special guest.
The central Information and Research Secretary of Muktijoddha Sangsad and other district Muktijoddha Sangsad leaders spoke on the occasion.
The minister said the government increased the monthly allowance of Muktijoddhas, the freedom fighters will get taka 10 thousand as allowance per month from January 2016. He said the government has decided to provide free treatment with medicines at every hospital for the freedom fighters.
He also said the government will provide housing facilities in every upazila for the freedom fighters.
He said, besides, the government has decided to set up graveyard of same design in every district and upazilas for the freedom fighters. Referring to the welfare oriented programmes for the freedom fighters the minister said, under the direction of the Prime Minister the Ministry has taken steps to built memorials on 437 mass graves all over the country.
Mozammel Haque said, the country is moving ahead. Bangladesh has become a role model of development in the world under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Religious Minister and valiant freedom fighter Principal Motiur Rahman said BNP- Jamaal has been plotting conspiracies against our independence and sovereignty. He asked the freedom fighters to foil their conspiracy. He also  asked them to work for building Sonar Bangla as dreamt by the Father of the  Nation Bangabandhu.
