Sohana Saba works with Rokeya Prachi after 15 yrs

Sohana Saba made her small screen acting debut back in 2001 with the tele-drama ‘Biprotip’, where she acted alongside famed actress-director Rokeya Prachi. That was the first time as well as last time the duo worked together. However, a reunion took place between the two artistes as Rokeya Prachi is directing a new tele-drama titled ‘Bodudorshon’, which features the cast of Sohana Saba along with Irfan Sajjad. DhakaLive has news that the trio of Rokeya Prachi, Sohana Saba and Irfan Sajjad were on the local train recently, on the way to Pubail to shoot the scenes. The shooting was completed recently.
Written by Mannan Hira, the story of ‘Bodudorshon’ will see Saba and Sajjad as final year medical students who elope. They get on a late night train to go see Sajjad’s grandmother. The night brings about several incidents, which can be seen in the tele-drama.
Even though Sohana Saba has acted alongside Rokeya Prachi more than a decade ago, she informed that this is the very first time that she has worked under her direction. She shared her thoughts, “Rokeya Prachi was my co-artiste in my very first tele-drama and after that, I have not worked with her for over 15 years. We used to see each other during some social events. Now, working with her after so long was certainly a great feeling.”  l
