Mahi to play lead role in �Dhaka Attack�

Popular actress Mahiya Mahi, one of the prominent names in the country’s film scene, is going to star in yet another new film of her career. DhakaLive has news about Mahi’s latest venture that she will be seen playing as lead heroine in the film titled ‘Dhaka Attack’ directed by Dipankar Sengupta Dipan. Audience-admired actor Arefin Shuvo, who acted with Mahi in two other films earlier, will pair up with her in this film. The shooting of the film is expected to commence from January 10.
Meanwhile, the number of characters in the film has already created a buzz in the showbiz as Mahi’s ‘Dhaka Attack’ will cast as many as 238 different characters to meet the demand of the film’s story. When most of the films in the Dhaka film industry are trying to feature only mandatory casts—those are absolutely needed to make the film complete and for keeping their cost expectedly low at that moment, ‘Dhaka Attack’ is doing this unthinkable job featuring this big number of casts in one film.
Confirming the news about featuring this large number of casts in his film, Dipankar Dipan said, “Though it seems like surprising news, our film needs 238 characters to meet the demand of the story. Most of the characters for our film have already been finalised. Five leading characters of the film will see Arefin Shuvo, Mahiya Mahi, ABM Sumon, Shatabdi Wadud and ‘number five’—the name will not be disclosed now, rather it will remain as a surprise for the audience.
