Nasir U Mahmud reelected Uttara Club president

Eminent industrialist Nasir U Mahmud has been reelected president of Uttara Club Limited for tenure 2015-16, reports BSS. The election and 24th general meeting of the club were held on Friday in a festive mood in the capital, said a press release yesterday. Nasir U Mahmud was elected president of Uttara Club for the second term bagging 672 votes while his nearest rival KMR Manjur got 316 votes. Ten members were also elected to the executive council. They are: Iftekhar Mahmud, Noor Mohammad Dikon, SM Quaiyum Ali, AM Mahmudur Rahman, M Nurul Islam, Arshad Morshed Hossain, M Shafiqul Alam, Piara Nargis, M Maruf Aziz and KM Khairul Bashar.
