Alvee�s dream to co-star with her idol finally comes true

Veteran actress and multi-time National Film Award winner Anwara Begum and popular new generation actress Alvee have acted together for the first time in the ATN Bangla ongoing drama serial DB, directed by Jahangir Alam Sumon. The actresses of two generations acted in the episode titled Omanush. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of that episode has been completed last week at a shooting house in the capitals Uttara area.
Anwara Begum, who has taken a hiatus from acting regularly in films and tele-dramas, acted in a drama serial after quite a few years. She shared her thoughts, Nowadays, I am not all that regular when it comes to acting. However, if there is a good script and an opportunity to portray an interesting character, I feel like acting regularly again. Jahangir Alam Sumons Omanush was something I showed keen interest in due to its good story. That is why, I eagerly did the work. In addition, as a co-artiste, I really liked Alvee. I think she is a very gentle natured girl and I have the best wishes and prayers for her.
Alvee, who has looked up to Anwara Begum as her idol since her childhood, had a lifelong dream to one day act alongside her after being fascinated by seeing her movies. That dream appears to have come true. She expressed her immense joy about the matter, I have lost count as to how many movies of Anwara Begum I have seen in my life. I am always reminded of her performance with the late actor Salman Shah in Antore Antore in the song Dadi O Dadi. To act alongside such a legendary actress is a matter of tremendous good fortune for me. It was a lifelong dream of mine to act alongside her and I am extremely grateful to the director for making that dream a reality for me.
To note, Anwara Begum last acted in the film Chini Bibi. For her extraordinary performances in Golapi Ekhon Train`e, Radha Krishna, Bhaat De, Sokhinar Juddho, Sundori, Suboda, Banglar Bodhu, Moroner Pore and Antore Antore, she achieved the National Film Award multiple times.
On the other hand, Alvee has earned immense appreciation for Jahangir Alam Sumon-directed drama serial Grihodaho, Dena Pawna, Rajlakkhi Shrikanta, Gupta Dhon. Alvee-acted drama serials Alashpur, Sohojatri, Tahader Joubonkaal, Uttar Dokkhin, Tui Ke Amar are regularly being aired on various television channels.
Jahangir Alam Sumon informed that the episode Omanush will be aired in the beginning of January next year. l
