Razzak returns to acting after two years

With the shooting of a new telefilm, directed by his son Samrat, on Sunday morning, Nayak Raj famed seasoned actor Razzak has returned to acting after two years. He has been staying away from the acting due to his illness that even sent him to the hospital a year ago. Razzak has taken part in the shooting of the telefilm titled ‘Daaybhar’ under the direction of his younger son, Khaled Hossain Samrat. Popular actress Dolly Zohur, Lux superstar model-turned-actress Badhon and Samrat are his co-artistes in the telefilm.
Razzak said about returning to acting again, “By the grace of Almighty, my physical condition is now fine and I am following the doctor’s suggestions accordingly. Samrat has become much busier with directional works; as well, his works are earning appreciation. I couldn’t restrain myself from working in this telefilm after reading its story. That’s why  I am working here with immense interest and I seek everyone’s blessing that I can complete the work with my physical fitness.”
Dolly Zohur expressed her feelings about working with Razzak after so many years, “I always feel comfortable to work with Razzak. At the same time, I am also very much satisfied to work under his direction. He never likes any overacting.”
Badhon, who is working with Razzak for the first time as well as under the direction of Samrat for the first time, said, “This is really a blessing for me that I got an opportunity of working with Nayak Raj. Nothing bigger in my life can be achieved than this. I am really very inspired and excited.”
Samrat said, “This is in fact,  an utmost delightful moment in my life that my father is working under my direction.”

To note, Dolly Zohur worked with Nayak Raj for the first time in the film ‘Osadharan’ directed by Rahim Newaz. After taking a break for many years, she worked in the film ‘Prem Shakti’ under Razzak’s direction. Then Razzak and Dolly Zohur worked together in films such as ‘Baba Keno Chakor’, ‘Sontan Jokhon Shotru’ and ‘Maron Khela’.
On the other hand, the film ‘Aayna Kahini’ was the last directorial work of Razzak. l
