Personal Secretary-1 to Prime Minister (PM) Md Tofazzel Hossain Miah has been promoted to secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday.

He is replacing Senior Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office Sajjadul Hassan, who will go on retirement on January 10 this year.

Meanwhile, the government has extended the job of Senior Secretary of Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mohibul Haque on contractual basis for one year from January 6. Two different notifications have been issued by the Ministry of Public Administration yesterday.

On the other hand, retired Additional Inspector General of Police Binoy Krishna Bala has been appointed as member of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) for five year from yesterday and former senior secretary of Ministry of Public Administration Faez Ahmmed also appointed as member of the BPSC for five years from January 4.
