BNP has announced to hold rallies in the capital and other divisional headquarters of the country on December 10 to mark the International Human Rights Day. BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programmes at a press briefing at the party’s central office at Nayapaltan in the capital yesterday.
“December 10 will be observed as International Human Rights Day and the BNP has taken various programmes to mark the day,” Rizvi said. The party has chalked out programmes in the light of observing the International Human Rights Day, he added. He also mentioned that the party rallies would be peaceful. As part of the programmes, rallies will be held in the capital and the party’s other divisional headquarters on December 10, he announced. Festoons and banners will be designed focusing on the day, Rizvi added.
BNP leaders Abul Khair Bhuiyan, Imran Saleh Prince, Abdus Salam Azad, Shariful Alam, Helen Jerin Khan and Advocate Farjana Sharmin Putul, among others, were present, among others, at the press meet.
