Home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said they will not invite controversial persons and persons accused in crimes against humanity to programmes held on Independence Day, which is to be celebrated on December 16. The decision was taken yesterday at a meeting at the home ministry with the home minister in the chair. The home minister urged the people to hoist the national flag carefully in their cars and the residences. “We urge the people to take down the flag after celebrating Independence Day on December 16,” he said.
