Asaduzzaman Noor re-elected as president, Ahkam Ullah GS

Former cultural affairs minister and cultural personality Asaduzzaman Noor and eminent recitation artiste Ahkam Ullah have been re-elected as the president and general sectary (GS) of Bangladesh Abritti Somonnoy Parishad (BASP) respectively. They will lead the association for the next three years.
The announcement was made at the 13th edition of National Council of BASP at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capital on Saturday.
The presidium members were also selected at the council. They are Istekbal Hossain, Belayet Hossain, Rupa Chakraborty, Golam Sarwar, Dr Shahadat Hossain Nipu, Sohrab Hossain Talukder, Rafiqul Islam, Shimul Mustafa, Iqbal Khorshed Jafor, Rezina Wali Lina, Foyzul Alam Pappu, Nazmul Hasan Pakhi (Cumilla), Abu Sufian Chowdhury Kushol (Faridpur), Mokaddem Babul (Sylhet), Azmol Hossain Labu (Baishal), Alam Ara Jui (Khulna), Mohammad Kamal (Rajshahi), Kanti Kanija (Mymensingh) and Samarjit Das Tutul (Chattogram).
Monirul Islam was selected as treasurer, while Fayzullah Sayeed as publicity secretary.
