Obayed Ullah Al Masud joins Rupali Bank as MD

Obayed Ullah Al Masud has joined Rupali Bank as managing director and CEO, the bank said in a press statement. Prior to that, he was the managing director and CEO of Sonali Bank. Before serving as MD and CEO of Sonali Bank, Obayed worked as MD of state-owned specialised Karmasangsthan Bank and prior to that, he performed duties as deputy managing director of Agrani Bank, said the release. He started his career as a senior officer of Agrani Bank in 1983.  Obayed completed his B com (Hon’s) in management from Dhaka University in 1982 and MBA in finance from IBA in 1988, it added.
