Stride International School, a new rising school, stole the show in the inter school table tennis tournament held recently at Delhi Public School at Uttara in the capital.
Syeda Erum Noor and Anindita Rahman grabbed the girls’ doubles title beating International Turkish School in the final and slammed South Breeze in the semis.
Stride International also finished runners-up in the girls’ team. They went down to South Breeze in the final. Syeda Erum Noor, Anindita Rahman and Onanna Mahbub represented Stride International School.
Their boys team managed to enter into the boys’ team event semifinal. Eusha Khan and Syed Irfan Noor played for Stride International. Syeda Erum Noor and Syed Irfan Noor clinched bronze medals in the girls’ and boys’ singles respectively.
Stride International Principal Marriam was also present on the occasion and she inspired her students to achieve a good result in their maiden appearance in an indoor sports event.
