Humaira to play lead role in drama serial

Popular actress Humaira Himu is set to play the lead role in an upcoming drama serial titled ‘Chhannachhara’, directed by Debasish Chakrabarty. The actress will play the role of Sundori in the drama serial. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of various episodes of the drama serial has already been completed. To note, ever since Humaira Himu was a youngster, she was enthralled by National Award winning actress Bobita’s performance in the film ‘Sundori’, directed by Amzad Hossain. Ever since, she had a weakness towards the name Sundori and was always eager to play such a challenging role. Despite the fact that the role is not in a film and in a drama serial, it seems that the stars have aligned and her dream of playing a character by that name came true with ‘Channachara’.
The actress shared her thoughts about her role, “To play the character by the name of Sundori has been a long time dream of mine. Finally, when that dream came true, I feel amazing. I would like to express my gratitude to the whole unit of ‘Chhannachhara’.”
She further added, “The viewers will see me in a new light through this drama serial. The parts where I have to pronounce certain words, I say something completely different; that will be something that the viewers will have a good experience with.”
